Jessica Rose Gordon
Jessica Gordon is a painter, photographer and illustrator. Jessica has a BA in conservation studies and photo-documentary from the Santa Fe University of Art and Design. She spent her undergrad years traveling, studying environmental issues and photo-documentary. She traveled and took photos in Belize, Kenya, Brazil, Guatemala, Norway, and Australia. Jessica went on to earn her MA in curriculum and instruction with K-12 Visual Arts emphasis at the University of Denver and taught 5-12 graders fine arts in New Castle, Colorado for 11 years.
Jessica is currently living in Kalama, Washington teaching grades 6-12 graders fine arts.
Jessica has been painting with oils and gouache since 1997 and has studied with artists Dalhart Windberg and Tommy Thompson in addition to studies in the arts during college.
Recently, Jessica wrote, illustrated and published her first children’s book “River Rats” about a whitewater rafting adventure.
